Metal Braces:

The brace (or as we call it bracket) consisted of 3 parts. A base part that attaches to the tooth, an opening for the wire and then 2-4 little metal "wings" that allowed a tie to attaché the wire to the bracket. Ties used in metal braces come in many fun colors.

Damon Braces:

In more difficult cases we prefer to use a newer bracket that falls in the category of "self-tieing" or "self-ligating" braces. These brackets also have a base and a slot, however the wire is held in by a door that opens and closes. Damon braces also come in metal and clear.

Clear Braces:

Clear braces are made of porcelain. They are more fragile than metal braces but remain an excellent choice for esthetic conscience patients. Our clear braces do not stain and they offer excellent tooth movement control.
